Little Stars Kindergarten School is a preschool, play school and kindergarten on Beach Road in Anna Nagar, Thoothukudi. We take children from age two through to the year before Class 1 — and we try to make every one of those years feel safe, warm and worth showing up for.
Children under six do not learn well by sitting still. They learn by doing, touching, asking, repeating and playing. Everything in our approach follows from that one idea.
So our classrooms look busy. There is sand and water and paint. There is noise. And underneath the noise there is structure: every activity has a purpose, and every teacher knows what a child is meant to be gaining from it.
We are not trying to produce four-year-olds who can recite. We are trying to produce children who are curious, confident, kind, and completely unafraid of learning.
Safety — the thing you actually worry about
No parent hands over a two-year-old lightly. Our campus is gated and supervised, our classrooms and washrooms are cleaned through the day, our furniture is child-height and child-safe, and our staff are trained and known to you by name.
We would rather you came and inspected all of this yourself than took our word for it. Visitors are welcome during school hours.

Our teachers
Early-childhood teaching is a skill, not a fallback. Our teachers are trained for this age group specifically — they know how to settle a crying two-year-old, how to hold the attention of a room of four-year-olds, and how to spot the child who is quietly struggling.
We keep our groups small deliberately. A teacher who knows every child in the room can teach; a teacher managing a crowd can only supervise.
Families we serve
We are on Beach Road in Anna Nagar, near the New Bus Stand, which makes us easy to reach from most parts of Thoothukudi (Tuticorin). Families travel to us from across the city and the surrounding areas.

A day at Little Stars
Children arrive to a teacher who knows their name. The morning opens with a circle — songs, the weather, who is here today — and then the room comes alive: activity corners, art, blocks, books, sand and water.
There is a snack, time outside, a story, and a calm close before home time. Between all of it sit the small lessons that matter most at this age: wait your turn, put it back, ask if you need help, be kind to the child who is upset.
What we will never do
We will not put a three-year-old in front of a worksheet to impress you. We will not pretend your child is doing brilliantly when they are struggling. And we will not take on more children than our teachers can genuinely know.
A preschool that promises everything to everyone is usually promising too much.
